Norio Hayakawa, was the director of Civilian Intelligence Network, a loosely-knit citizens’ oversight committee on government accountability. He is perhaps best known for his UFO investigations in and around New Mexico and the American Southwest.

A veteran of the field, he has been involved in Ufology since around 1961. Norio is the subject of the fascinating new documentary THE CONSPIRATOLOGIST from filmmakers Stephen Bradford & Justin Jay Jones. The film screens as part of the 7th annual MidWest WeirdFest at the Micon Downtown Cinema in Eau Claire Wisconsin, March 3-5, 2023. Norio visits with Talking Weird to chat about his decades of experience in the UFO field, some of his positions on the topic, and his take on what is occurring with the increased excitement around UFOs today.
