Since Thomas Shay’s first encounter in 1987, he has devoted his free time and resources to the study of the creature known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch. As a result, he currently possesses the largest collection of original Bigfoot castings east of the Mississippi river; including hair that meets Dr. Fahrenbach’s gold standard.
In his early years Thomas researched in Washington State, Illinois, and Ohio. He has assembled a team of researchers with varying skills, knowledge and perspectives. He has appeared on Finding Bigfoot season 5 Episode 1; APTN red earth Uncovered season 2, episode 3. In addition he has been a guest speaker on multiple podcasts and news programs over the years.
Now retired, Thomas spends his time researching and sharing his knowledge with the Bigfoot community. He lives in Trimble County Kentucky along with his wife and son.
